Like many innovative Kiwi businesses, Kings Custom (Previously RH KING & SONS) started from humble beginnings in the back of a garage in the late 1950’s. It was founded by Bob King, a man who grew up in the steel trade supplying fittings during World War II. After becoming a fabrication specialist, he set out on his own, to be joined later by his two sons Graham & Grant and in 2019 a long standing employee Mark became a Director.
The company has expanded and diversified over the years and is now conveniently located on Gordon Road in Morningside. With Mark & Grant at the helm, the business is staffed by a knowledgeable, friendly staff of 25. The operation has over 200 years of experience between the current employees. We are proud to have served many Kiwi businesses over the years, and several of our clients are still with us into their third generation.
